George A. Fowler

Al graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1970 with a B.S. degree in Business Management. In January of 1973, he began his insurance career with Mutual of New York. In 1981,  became an agency manager with MONY in Greensboro, N.C. and continued to manage agencies in Greensboro as well as Memphis. It was in 1990 that he founded the employee benefits firm, Fowler Insurance and Employee Benefits, Inc., where he has served as president since its inception.

Al is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He holds a series 6, 22 and 26 registrations. He is an Investment Adviser Representative with First Heartland Consultants, Inc. and his securities registrations are through First Heartland Capital, Inc. He was a founding and managing partner of Financial Management Group, a nationwide financial planning partnership. Al has served on the Blue Cross Blue Shields Broker Advisory Board and served on United Healthcare's advisory board.

Al has been married for 44 years to his wife, Gayle. They have a son, Brent, who is married and has a son named Ames.  He has been in the business with him for 19 years. Kathryn, their daughter, is married and works with Ricoh, she also has two sons,Tucker and Tanner.
